cHoc ChiPs

I got a lot of things to share with you all yesterday. However, for today’s entry I will only share about my choc chip’s making last nite.

After sungkai, my hubby out of the blue proposes to me to make my choc chips tonight.

Im like, what?! Hmmmm…. “I don’t think we have enough time to finish all the 2 recipes Abang” I told him. Then, he kept saying “sempat sayang. Cubalah dulu.” All the way from my in law’s house to our house, I keep thinking about how Im gonna tackle all the unprepared things before I could start making the cookies. I haven’t clean my oven, haven’t take out my butter from the fridge, I haven’t wash my weighing etc…

So, when we reached home, to make things easier, my hubby helps me to clean the oven. Ok, settle one issue. For my part, I took out my butter, wash all the cooking utensils needed etc etc… tried my best and pray hard that we will have enough time to finish all the cookies tonight.

FYI, due to all the sudden, first time ever in my life I battered the butter when it still in cold and hard condition. Hahahaha… So funny and desperate! Hopefully it won’t affect my cookie’s recipe later.

Hehehhehe… after all the hard works, I managed to finish all the processes at about 12am in the morning, including cleaning my kitchen. Alhamdulillah…. And the choc chips also turn out very well compared to my last year’s one. Ngeh ngeh ngeh…

We managed to get about 300pcs of choc chips cookies for 2 recipes :-)

I got the recipe from hanieliza fotopages and modify a bit (I didnt use the white choc chips).

Ingredients A:
250gm butter
160gm fine sugar
1 egg yolk
1 t/s vanillah essence

Ingredients B (combine all together):
230gm super fine flour
20gm cocoa powder
100gm choc chips
50gm white choc chips
50gm roasted almond strips
50gm nestum

batter the butter and fine sugar until creamy. Then, add in yolk and the vanilla essence. Batter well again. Stir in ingredient B. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking pan. bake for 25 mins at 180 degree celcius (my oven doesnt have timer neither the temperature control. So, I have to monitor it manually. Really old school and kampung style... hahahaha)

sy baru planning nk kuarkan oven baru yg dh setahun lebey jd tukun kat bwh katil..
asben sy ckp kalu dis year tak jd juge, alamat die pijak2 oven tue...kejam x? huhu

kijam btol.... hah! apa laie nozie.. mulakanlah projek minggu nih.. buat 1 kuih dulu, so xdek lah oven tuh kena pijak2...

huh! memang! kita ni kan SYMP je..

heheh..pasal SYMP tu plak..aku dh dekat 2 thn dah..dulu menderita gakla..nasib baik skrg dpt unit pengurusan projek..kalo tak berlumut la kepala aku duk gomen ni..huhu.kalo suh aku design balik jawabnye bukak nota laa..

aweng, choc chips cookies tuh ada 5 container..

container paling kecik - kasik kat mel ngan aweng, sbb bleh buat anytime..

container yang saiz sederhana- kasik kat mas buat bekal balik penang.. tapi kasi satu container jek sebab mas tengah diet..

container paling besar dan selebihnya - kasik kat akak - ramai nih nak makan! ngidam la aweng.. (sambil buat muka kesian)
